XML Endpoints is a new column about web services, one of the mostcontroversial and confusing topics in distributed systems developmenttoday. Our goal for this column is to examine web services as theyexist today and as they will be evolving in the future. Along the way,we’ll talk about protocols, programming models, toolkits,interoperability and more.
